One thing that has always helped me:
- Acknowledge the Architecture of the Course
Pay attention to how all the pieces you've learned during the semester fit together. They should start to fit together at the end as you approach exams. I always draw a 'map' of the course so I can see the big topics, sub topics, and exceptions. This helps me ensure I cover everything while studying and the things I don't know at all are pretty obvious. For visual learners, if you blank during the exam, you can close your eyes and visualize the map...sometimes you'll be able to 'see' the thing you cannot recall. Good Luck to All!
